The purpose of the Women in Educational Leadership Symposium (WIELS) Scholarship is to support the conference attendance of women who express a need for financial assistance. The scholarship covers all or part of the registration fee.
The scholarship was established in 2017 to ensure that those who wished to attend the conference could have the opportunity to do so. Several women involved in the conference have supported this “Pay it Forward” initiative.
Women who are interested in assistance with registration fees, should send a letter expressing the need to Dr. Susan Colby. Decisions about awards will be made by the Board of Directors as the requests are received.
